UMATILLA COUNTY — Senate District 29 candidate Todd Nash will host two public campaign events in early March.

Nash is a rancher whose leadership credentials include his current position as a Wallowa County commissioner as well as being the immediate past president of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association. He hopes to take the seat of Sen. Bill Hansell, R-Athena, who is retiring at the end of the term.

On March 5, Nash will be at the Pendleton Convention Center, 1601 Westgate, from 6-8 p.m.

The following day, 4-6 p.m., he will be at the Double M Ranch in Stanfield, at 30256 Stanfield Meadows Road.

Both events, which are free, will have light refreshments.

Senate District 29 encompasses all of Umatilla, Morrow, Union, Wallowa, Gilliam, Sherman and Wheeler counties, as well as the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation, north Jefferson County, most of Wasco County and a small portion of Clackamas and Marion counties.
